Hi, Alec

Great spirit you have!
From your studies and sketches, I think you should study more references when you try to make your own work, especially the latter images you uploaded

Keep up the good work! :)

@forrestimel Thanks man XD and i am in some doodles i need to apply them more seriously.. Since i didnt apply what i learned from that sniper gal i tried to throw something together quick before this post trying to remember what i learned in a stupid doodle.

Some gesture traces and redraws of Algenpleger. Reapplying what i learn to my own gestures. A little update on my perspective thing im working on

>Gesture traces

Hmm.. I don't think this is the best time to spend your time.
There is lots of subtle nuances in algen's gestures which make them look really nice, all of this comes from years of pratice.
You'd probably be better of learning from Hampton or Vilppu about gestures in the beginning phases, they break it down in to really simple steps you can follow.

Then once you get the hang of it try experimenting creating your own mannequins, the more anatomy you know the better they'll look.
There are no shortcuts, but if there is one thing you want to focus on during gesture drawing it is getting the motion down, not just blocking in the contours.

Telohs- Thanks for the comment mani appreciate it. I was doing that tracing out of curiosity because i had never done it before and i promise its not the way i plan on studying was just a bit of an experiment to see if it could help me feel the rhythm of others gestures. Ill keep working on my gestures and hopeful will show some improvement!

Gordontian- Thanks man I will!

just a small update of some crappy stuff. Thumb nails are for a crimson challenge im participating and the girl with the weird backround is me applying some stuff that i learned from the girl study bellow her. Trying to do gesture drawing everyday but they are pretty boring and crappy so ill post those every once in a while here were some quick gestures from imagination that are well shit haha
