Lol, where in Canada are you? We're sitting around like 6 C atm where I am in South Western Ontario. The weather doesn't want to make up it's mind, it bounces around.

@Will-Marton THanks man and yes brushes are key to creating that efffect and also smudge brush also very important.

What was your process like (e.g. 3d base, bw sketch) and how long did you spend on it?

Hey Ubem! saw your paints and really dig the colours of your work =)

My process for this one is as you said 3D base with emphasis on light design and I roughly spend about 2 hours a day for a week or so? Its still a work in progress work flow.

I hope to post more soon! (some times freelance and day job get in the way)

Really appreciate you coming back here and reminding us all of your great work. I'd love to be able to paint that loosely and with such brushes, but I suppose I just gotta rack up better understanding first.
