Hey guys, I'm 18 years old and i love painting :D (mostly environments).
This forum looks really cool, so i decided to join in! I'd highly appreciate any feedback and critique! :) Hope you like my stuff!

That Temple of Death looks super. And all in all you have good palettes in all your paintings and studies. Keep going!

Be careful with the airbrushy/smudgy blending. Using it all over the picture makes it muddy. Try to paint more opaquely and pick the in-between colors by hand, it should make your lady knights look much better.

malines-f.jpg is damn cool. It might be beneficial if you could inject some more story into that environment, rather than just being a setting or location, but thats just a passing humble thought. Keep it up!

try blending characters into your environments they're challenging :D also keep up with the human figure too

Keep working on your characters as you obviously know what you are doing with the environments. As mentioned, maybe try combining the two? The environments are looking good, though. They are great motivation :)

Thanks for the kind replies everyone! i've been away for a while but i'm back :D i did paint in the meanwhile. I tried to do more character work (i'll post some of it) and also tried blending character work with environments :)

I really like your color study!! The color are just so right and so nice!! The color looks like have the rhythm feeling! @v@~~
Also in virtual plein air 9.jpg this image, I am so happy to see you even painted all the words!!! personal I love this words "我爱你" !@v@!
I love your Horse study.. Sorry... If I am going to list the artwork I like, I will probably have to list all of the colors images again!

@Ernie, haha sorry :p i decided not to finish it with charcoal because i kind of like the sketch as it is :p i'll do some other charcoal drawing though!

So my wacom broke but the new one arrived so i'm back at it :D fixing both of my latest paintings (values, lighting, details) and did a bad speedpaint but i liked the colours haha, so i guess i'll post my crapy work too...
